<br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Sunny Isles Beach is
<br />seeking sealed RFPs for the following work as specified.

<br />EMERGENCY DEBRIS CLEARING AND REMOVAL OPERATIONS

<br />Requestfor Proposal No. 08-07-01
<br />
<br />The Specifications for this Request for Proposal are available from,
<br />DemandStar by calling (800) 711-1712 or by accessing their website a~
<br />www.demandstar.com. The RFP Specifications may also be examined
<br />at the City of Sunny Isles Beach - Office of the City Clerk. Vendors WhO:
<br />obtain the RFP Specifications from sources other than DemandStar or,
<br />the City of Sunny Isles Beach are cautioned that their RFP response
<br />package may be incomplete. Addenda will be posted and disseminated
<br />by DemandStar at least five days prior to the submittal date to all vendors
<br />who are listed on the official list. The City may not accept incomplete
<br />proposals.

<br />Proposals shall be on a unit price basis; segregated proposals will not be
<br />accepted. Sealed proposals will be received by the City Clerk no later
<br />than 10:00 A.M., on August 12, 2008 at the Sunny Isles Beach
<br />Government Center located at 18070 Collins Avenue, 4th floor, Sunny
<br />Isles Beach, Rorida, 33160. RFPs received after this time will not be
<br />considered. The City is under no obligation to return proposals. The
<br />envelope containing the sealed proposals must be clearly marked:

<br />A security deposit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the TOTAW
<br />PROPOSAL PRICE must accompany the proposal in accordance with
<br />the Instructions to Proposer (Section 3).

<br />The contract will be awarded by the City to the lowest responsible and
<br />responsive proposer whose proposal best serves the interests of, and
<br />represents the best value to, the City pursuant to the criteria set forth in
<br />Section 62-8 of the City Code. Price is only a factor in determining the
<br />lowest responsible and responsive proposer.

<br />The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, with or without
<br />, cause, to waive technical errors and informalities, and to accept the
<br />I proposa1, which best serves the interest of the City.
