Removal Operations: Must begin within 24 hours of receMng the Notice-lo-Proceed and be fu1ctioning at 100% of <br />capacity within 2 days. Removal may begin earlier if adequate disposal sites are available and properly <br />prepared. The City reserves the right to increase or decrease the scope of the removal activity as he/she deems <br />necessary to ensure effective management of the overaU debris removaVdisposaJ operations. <br /> <br />7.11.2. Working Hours: Unless otherwise permitted by the City, working hours for removal operations shaD be limited <br />to daylight hours. <br /> <br />7.12. EXTRA WORK <br /> <br />At the City's option, the scope of wor1< may be expanded to include Federal Aid System roadwyays, public parks, other <br />recreational areas, drainage structures, and channels. <br /> <br />7.13. UNIT PRICE PER CUBIC YARD OR TON BASIS OF MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> <br />7.13.1. Debris removal will be paid for on the basis of a untt price per cubic yard or by the ton for all debris loaded, <br />hauled, and dumped at an approved landfill. The unit price per cubic yard or ton must include all subsidiary costs, <br />including but not limited to labor, equipment, fuel, maintenance. general administration, and overhead and profit. <br />Compensation will be based solely on the wIume of debris hauled as cb:umented by oom~ load tickets <br />ministered cud vaidated by City monttors. <br /> <br />7.13.2. The following conversion factors win be used to convert from cubic yards to tons unless material is weighed at <br />certified scales, in which case, the net weight of the materials shall prevail: <br /> <br />. Mixed Debris - Vegetation and Construction & Demolition = 500 LBSICY or CY x 0.25 = Tons <br />. Yard Vegetation - SoftWood = 333.33lBS/CY or CY x 0.167 = Tons <br />. Yard Vegetation - Hard Wood = 500 LBSlCY or CY x 0.25 = Tons <br />. Construction & Demolition = 1000 LBSlCY or CY x 0.5 = Tons <br />. Mulch = 1000 lBS/Cy or CY x 0.5 = Tons <br />. Regular Trash = 300 LBSlCY or CY x 0.15 = Tons <br />. Concrete = 2000 LBSlCY or CY x 1.0 = Tons <br />. Sand = 2600 LBSICY or CY x 1.3 = Tons <br /> <br />NOTE: Section 7.14. FEE SCHEDULE FORM (Part A & B) is included <br />separately in Tab 3.
