<br />Item 16.... QC staffwas not effectively conducting initial and follow-up inspections with <br />the various subcontract crews. Basically, the QC staff were only conducting final <br />inspections. The lack of interim inspections ClWBed a large amount of rework that could <br />ha:ve been avoided if the corrections to the installation procedures had been. made earlier. <br /> <br />Item 18 - Several complaints were received from numerous subcontractors. Complaints <br />included promptness of payments, lack of invoice details showing which. houses were <br />covered under payments made, and that percentages paid were not in agreement with the <br />l:erm.s of their subcontracts. Eventually, the volume of the subcontract payment issues <br />decreased. <br /> <br />Item 21 - The contractor was issues a letter concerning his :fulling below tho minimum. <br />daily production rate. In. his response letter, he stated his reason fur faIling below the <br />requirement as well as biB proposed solution. He regained his production rate within the <br />allotted amount of time and operated at or above the minimmnrnte until factors beyond <br />his control caused him to fall below as the project was winding down.. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />r\. <br />\....../ <br />
