Palm Beach County Improvement District, FL <br />FL DOT District 7 Debris Removal <br /> <br />In addition to contractual obligations, Crowder operates a Sand Mine in Quincy, Florida. Our company produces <br />mason sand, concrete base, and concrete block sand. The company operates a hauling business as well, managing a <br />large daily fleet transporting rock, sand, and other materials the company both sells and moves during contract <br />projects. We also operate two permanent, licensed Construction and Demolition Landfills in Leon County, and are <br />very familiar with the requirements of proper segregation and disposal of debris. <br /> <br />CThe company presently has a workforce of <br />over 200 full time employees, and owns a fleet <br />of over 80 tandems and tractor-trailers (please <br />see our Qualifications of Personnel and <br />Company-owned Equipment sections for more <br />information). At the main office in <br />Tallahassee, our shop and team of expert <br />mechanics maintain both our fleet of motor <br />vehicles and equipment in superior condition. <br />Crowder routinely purchases new equipment <br />in order to maintain the high-caliber of our <br />fleet and to receive the benefits of <br />technological advances. <br /> <br /> <br />Crowder avers that safety of both its employees and others is of the utmost importance. To this end, Crowder is a <br />Certified Drug-Free Workplace. Illegal drug use of any kind is not tolerated.
