Crew foremen will report to their designated supervisor. <br />6. Foremen and/or clerk of the works will be responsible to ensure work <br />assignments received from their supervisor are completed to the requirements <br />of the government task order. <br />7. Foremen and/or clerk of the works will be responsible for maintaining the <br />daily personnel and equipment time logs. <br />D. OPERATIONS <br />I. Demolition operations will be conducted only on properties as instructed by <br />Government task orders. (Utmost care must be exercised to ensure only the <br />authorized and designated properties are entered and/or structures are <br />demolished and that only the portions of the debris and/or structures as <br />authorized are removed.) <br />2. All debris will be picked up and loaded into haul trucks in a safe and <br />workman-like manner. Debris shall be trimmed to ensure a safe load. Safety <br />will not be compromised. <br />3. All crew foreman and field supervisors will be responsible to ensure a rapid <br />and cost effective as possible operation. <br />4. Hand crews, to ensure maximum production and safe operation, will assist <br />heavy equipment operators in avoiding areas of concern, such as septic tanks, <br />water meters, power lines, etc. <br />5. All construction and demolition materials will be sized using heavy equipment <br />to ensure maximum loading and safe transport of materials within EP A and <br />DOT standards if applicable. <br />6. Obvious hazardous materials will be dealt with in accordance with the <br />Government task order and the Corporate Environmental Protection Plan. <br />7. Traffic control personnel, with appropriate traffic control and safety <br />equipment, will be stationed as appropriate, at each approach point of the <br />work area to maintain traffic control and prevent personal injury. Additional <br />traffic control personnel will be stationed throughout the area, as needed, to <br />ensure safe operations. <br />E. COMPLETION AND CLOSE OUT <br />I. Upon completion, the property shall be inspected by Government Inspectors <br />and preferably by the Property Owner. <br />2. A Completion Certificate should be obtained from the Government Inspectors, <br />signed by them and preferably the Property Owner. <br />3. Such Completion Certificate should certify also the lack of damages to the <br />property, to any items remaining on the property at the instruction of the <br />Government, and the lack of damages to any adjacent property. <br />4. Upon completion of the work, pictures are taken of the property from the <br />same sides to document the completion of the ROE. <br />5. The Completion Certificate should then be added to the computerized ROE <br />Matrix and become part of the final documentation for payment. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />DEMOLITION <br /> <br />66 <br />
