<br />o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Q <br /> <br />CLEAN-UP: <br /> <br />On completion of work of this section and after removal of all debris, leave site in clean <br />condition satisfactory to Contracting Officer. Clean-up shall include disposal of all items <br />and materials not required to remain property of the Government as well as all debris and <br />rubbish resulting from demolition operations. <br /> <br />DAILY REPORTS <br /> <br />DRC ES shall submit daily progress and quality control reports to the governing entity for all <br />activities. Each report would contain, at a minimum, the following information: <br /> <br />I) Letterhead with DRC name and contact information <br />2) Report Date <br />3) Location of completed work <br />4) Location of work for next day <br />5) Daily and cumulative hours for each piece of equipment and crew (Emergency Clearance) <br />6) List of roads that were cleared (Emergency Clearance) <br />7) Number of Crews (including number of trucks and loading equipment) <br />8) Daily and cumulative totals of debris removed, by category <br />9) Daily and cumulative totals of debris processed, to include methodes) of processing and <br />disposallocation(s) <br />10) Daily estimate of hazardous waste debris segregated, and cumulative amount of hazardous <br />waste placed in the designated holding area <br />II) Number of hazardous trees and hanging limbs removed. <br />12) Problems encountered or anticipated <br /> <br />Typically, Daily Reports are co-signed by the governing entity's inspector to verify work <br />performed. In addition, the governing entity receives an original copy of all load tickets and <br />receives and verifies for co-signature, a Daily Reconciliation Sheet listing each load ticket, the <br />truck number, crew number, street, truck volume, percent full, credited volume of debris <br />removed and the total volume removed for the day. This Daily Reconciliation Sheet is typically <br />verified by the governing entity and becomes the invoicing document for the Contract. <br /> <br />7. RECYCLING PLAN <br /> <br />Ve2etative Debris: Vegetative debris such as trees, stumps, brush, and leaf and yard waste make <br />up the largest portion of the debris produced during tornadoes, hurricanes, and other natural <br />disasters. Vegetative debris can be collected, stockpiled, and processed to the specifications of a <br />mulch or boiler fuel product. Although some local governments have purchased wood processing <br />equipment, others find it more cost effective to contract out the services. <br /> <br />68 <br />
