Construction Manager has been engaged for this Project to serve as an advisor to Owner <br />and to provide assistance in administering the Contract for Construction between Owner <br />and Contractor, according to a separate contract between Owner and Construction <br />Manager. <br />2. Construction Manager for this Project is Project's Constructor. In Divisions 1 through 16 <br />Sections, the terms "Construction Manager" and "Contractor" are synonymous. <br /> <br />F. The Work consists of the following: <br /> <br />1. The Work includes: Existing Stair Enclosure, New Concrete Canopy Roof, New Floor <br />Drains, New Storefront Windows, New Steel Canopy Roof, New Doorway, New <br />Steel Steps. <br /> <br />1.4 TYPE OF CONTRACT <br /> <br />A. Proj ect will be constructed under a single prime contract. <br /> <br />1.5 WORK PHASES <br /> <br />A. Not Applicable <br /> <br />1.6 WORK UNDER OTHER CONTRACTS <br /> <br />A. Not Applicable <br /> <br />1.7 PRODUCTS ORDERED IN ADVANCE <br /> <br />A. General: Owner may have negotiated Purchase Orders with suppliers of material and <br />equipment to be incorporated into the Work. Owner will assign these Purchase Orders to <br />Contractor. Costs for receiving, handling, storage if required, and installation of material and <br />equipment are included in the Contract Sum. <br /> <br />1. Contractor's responsibilities are same as if Contractor had negotiated Purchase Orders, <br />including responsibility to renegotiate purchase and to execute final Purchase-Order <br />agreements. <br /> <br />1.8 OWNER-FURNISHED PRODUCTS <br /> <br />A. Owner will furnish products indicated. The Work includes providing support systems to receive <br />Owner's equipment, and making plumbing, mechanical, and electrical connections. <br /> <br />1. Owner will arrange for and deliver Shop Drawings, Product Data, and Samples to <br />Contractor. <br />2. Owner will arrange and pay for delivery of Owner-furnished items according to <br />Contractor's Construction Schedule. <br /> <br />SUMMARY 01100-2 <br />
