<br />Instructions to Bidders - continued <br />Bid on Bleacher, Park and Playground Equipment, MCSD No. II-OOI4-MR <br /> <br />CONFLICTS OF INTEREST AND KICKBACKS: Any bidder giving or offering to any <br />employee and/or official of the School District of Manatee County, either directly or indirectly, <br />any rebate, percentage of contract, money or other things of value as an inducement or intended <br />inducement, in the procurement of this or any other bid, shall be deemed in violation of this <br />agreement, in addition to being in violation of any other municipal, county, state and federal laws <br />and/or ordinances. <br /> <br />IDENTIFICA TION: The contractor and sub-contractors shall be required to see that their <br />personnel maintain visible personal identification on each employee. Vendor's employees must <br />be appropriately attired (including shirt). Employees shall be required to dress neatly without <br />vulgar or otherwise offensive apparel, commensurate with the location and types of tasks being <br />performed. <br /> <br />SAFETY STANDARDS: All equipment must meet the applicable requirements of the <br />Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and any standards thereunder. <br /> <br />MA TERlAL SAFETY DATA SHEETS: Any items bid which contain substances found on the <br />current State of Florida Toxic Substances List must include with shipment the appropriate <br />Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). <br /> <br />UNITS OF MEASURE AND LOT SIZES: The item units of measure shall be as indicated on <br />the Form of Proposal. If manufacturer's standard packaging is different than the quantity listed, <br />it shall be the vendor's responsibility to convert the bid price to the requested unit of measure. <br />Bids received for items which have not been converted to the requested units of measure shall be <br />considered nonresponsive for that item.
