<br />The proposed special assessment is based on each parcel's share, before interest costs are added, of
<br />$1,009,000 of the costs ofth~.~anitary sewerCU}dassociated road restoration costs as previously presented

<br />laterals, 9rben~fit units, are to be conStructed on Atlantic Isle. The total proposed special assessment

<br />per beIj'efit unit is $22,140:~ ($16,274.00 principal + $9,121.76 interest). Your parcel will be served by

<br />proposing to build the improvements prior to billing any special assessments and to allow the special
<br />assessment to be paid over a period of 25 years. If the special assessments are adopted as proposed and
<br />all projected interest costs are paid, the City will collect a total of $1,372,739.52 in special assessment
<br />revenue.

<br />The actual amount of the assessment will be confirmed at the public hearing described above and below.
<br />Upon adoption of the Final Assessment Roll by the City Commission, the total special assessment levied
<br />your parcel will become a lien attached to the property. The City may bill annually by direct mailing or
<br />may include the annual payment on the annual ad valorem tax bill mailed in November of each year.
<br />Failure to pay the assessment installments as billed on the ad valorem tax bill will cause a tax certificate
<br />to be issued against the property which may result in a loss of title.
