<br />8) Evidence of capabilities for construction scheduling, material procurement, <br />and assurance that plans, specifications, and schedules are met. <br /> <br />The Thornton team will use Primavera SureTrack 3.0 scheduling and project <br />planner software for timely, accurate and dependable CPM schedules. Project <br />schedules can be updated instantly to determine if the work is ahead or behind <br />schedule. In the event of a delay, we perform impact evaluations and provide <br />reliable answers and solutions to bring the work back on track in the most cost- <br />and time-effective manner. <br /> <br />At a minimum, our schedules have sufficient detail to allow adequate control of <br />the project. In order to provide adequate control, the project is updated at least <br />once a month. The project schedule indicates critical shop drawing submittal and <br />approval dates and critical equipment lead times and delivery dates. <br /> <br />Our schedules are developed by identifying the work items necessary to achieve <br />job completion. Because the prime purpose of CPM is to produce a coordinated <br />project plan, key subcontractors are often brought into the planning. Thornton <br />sets the general timing reference for the project. Individual subcontractors review <br />their portion of the schedule and provide input/changes. This gives <br />subcontractors upfront knowledge of their agreed-upon adherence to the <br />schedule which minimized any potential conflicts or delays to the project. <br /> <br />In order to maintain current and future cash flow projections, Thornton cost loads <br />activities by adding costs to all schedule activities and material deliveries. These <br />costs are gathered from the subcontractor's schedule of value. <br /> <br />Thornton projects are completed on time, on schedule.
