Pavarini "Cost and <br />Resources" loads every schedule so we can 'proactively work with our subcontractors. . Each schedule incorporates a <br />critical path that stretches from start to finish of the project. During the construction phase the schedule' is reviewed <br />every week and updated constantly. Our 2 week look-ahead schedule is a critical tool that provides the field crew with <br />a more detailed day-to-day working reference. Extensive use of CPM construction software serves as a baseline to track <br />construction progress and helps control long lead time material and manpower distribution. · <br /> <br />PROCUREMENT CAPABIlITIES <br />Pavarini develops a p'rocurement strategy for the needs of a project: constructability reviews, coordination overlay of, <br />sub-,trades; cost reduction program, alternative components, bid strategies, front end document input, and life cycle <br />analysis. We try to recommend early trade and material buy-outs to reduce the risk of price escalation and material <br />, shortages. We have strategic alliances with both local and national material vendors. <br /> <br /> <br />. <br />Material Procurement and Assurance that Plans, Specs and Schedules Are Met' <br />Materials are competitively bid by approved manufactur~rs at the appropriate time in orde~ to meet the milestones of <br />the construction schedule. Manufacturers are monitored for production timetables; quality control and performance <br />testing to ensure complete compliance with the construction documents, All materials and equipment are checked to . <br />verify that, quality, quantity and stated capacities meet, the design criteria of the specifications. Prior to installation, <br />. Pavarini confirms in writing to the Owner that all materials and equipment fully meet the requirements of the contract <br />documents and provide proper field test results prior to Owner occupancy.
