SCHEDULE <br /> <br />This comprehensive project Critical Path Schedule (CPM) in bar chart format is based upon the phases and milestones per RFP, <br />inclusive of any required modifications that become apparent during the orientation and initial planning process. The CPM <br />will describe the construction of the CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH HERITAGE PARK & PARKING GARAGE project through completion, <br />and includes design activities, approval activities, major long lead item submittals, approvals, fabrication, and delivery time <br />frames, as well as construction/installation sequences. Finally, the schedule will define Temporary Certificate of Occupancy <br />(TCO) and building commissioning activities, turnover of the substantially completed project and the subsequent final <br />Certificate of Occupancy (CO) for the building. <br /> <br />1 A - SCHEDULE FOR PARKING GARAGE AND "As DESIGNED" PARK (SEE ATTACHED) <br /> <br />Pavarini understands that the Public Works Building and portions of the Parking Lot currently existing on site must remain fully <br />operational throughout the project. Once the new Parking Garage (Phase I) is completed then we can begin the renovation of <br />the Park in phase II (see attached detailed schedule). <br /> <br />The schedule is inclusive of Phase I (Parking Garage) and phase II (As Designed Park) occurring sequentially. <br /> <br />Pavarini is proposing phase I to be 280 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed (9 Months) <br /> <br />Pavarini is proposing phase II to be 140 Calendar Days after Phase I (4.5 Months) <br /> <br />Pavarini is proposing for the Total of Phase I and phase II to be 420 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed (13.5 Months) <br /> <br />1 B - SCHEDULE FOR PARKING GARAGE AND "BASE PARK OPTION" (SEE ATTACHED) <br /> <br />The schedule includes Phase I (Parking Garage) and phase II (Base Park Option) occurring sequentially. <br /> <br />Pavarini is proposing Phase I to be 280 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed (9 Months) <br /> <br />Pavarini is proposing phase II to be 60 Calendar Days (2 Months) (Assumes all proposed utility work will be installed in "Base <br />Park Option"). <br /> <br />Pavarini is proposing for the Total of phase I and Phase II to be 340 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed (11 Months) <br /> <br />1 C - SCHEDULING ALTERNATIVES <br /> <br />Pavarini has analyzed the major activities in the project and there are opportunities for schedule gains. <br /> <br />1. Provided test piles can start prior to the Notice to Proceed, there could be a potential savings of up to four (4) weeks <br />on the schedule. <br /> <br />2. Secondly proposal would be for phase I and Phase II to occur simultaneously. We feel these two phases could be <br />done at the same time, if the Public Works and Public Parking is relocated off site. (9 Months) <br /> <br />3. As the third option, we propose that Phase I and Phase II be built simultaneously, with the Public Parking relocated <br />offsite, and Public Works being maintained on site until the garage receives TCO. At this point, Public Works will be <br />relocated to the new location and the final elements of the park are completed.
