CLARIFICATIONS <br /> <br />a. Pavarini's BID is based on: <br />1. Pavarini met with a FPL official on site and FPL has confirmed that permanent power has not yet been <br />engineered or designed. It is expected FPL may need a contract to provide some/all of this work. This agreement is <br />not included in Pavarini's proposal and is assumed to be provided by the Owner. The cost for design and <br />permanent transformer and/or switch station has not been included in Pavarini's bid proposal at this time. FPL has <br />estimated that it may take 4-6 weeks for design and another 4-6 weeks for installation of permanent power. <br /> <br />Pavarini has made the following assumptions for permanent power: The Owner will establish a permanent power <br />agreement with FPL to bring permanent power to the transformer location shown on the drawings within twelve (12) <br />weeks of Notice to Proceed. Pavarini's bid proposal price includes 400 L.F. of duct bank inclusive of the following: <br />1. Excavation and concrete is included in our proposal <br />2. Main electrical conduit shall be furnished by FPL and installed by us <br />3. Main electrical feeders shall be furnished by FPL and installed by FPL <br />4. The cost for a FPL switch station and/or transformer has not been included. <br /> <br />Pavarini has made the following assumptions for temporary power. The Owner will establish a permanent power <br />agreement with FPL to bring permanent power to the transformer location shown on the drawings within twelve (12) <br />weeks of Notice to Proceed. Pavarini can accommodate the temporary power via small generators for the first <br />twelve (12) weeks until the Owner acquires permanent power. Pavarini has the cost for temporary power from <br />Owner provided transformer. <br /> <br />2. Stucco and/or paint is included over CMU walls where indicated on the drawings. The bid documents did <br />not indicate finishes over CMU in other areas. Pavarini has included the following also: <br />a. Stucco and paint is included at all ground level CMU walls which face to the inside of the garage. <br />b. Block filler and paint is included at interior CMUs walls of backhouse spaces. <br />c. Block filler and paint is also included at CMU walls at elevator and stair towers which face towards <br />the inside of the parking garage on levels 2 through 5. <br /> <br />b. Pavarini's BID includes the following allowances: <br />1. $25,000 - Engineering and any other requirements and/or materials that may be necessary for the <br />decorative wall grilles and vine climbing system to be complete and functional for its intended purpose <br />2. $150,000 - Quotations received for the sailboat structure varied widely so we have elected to carry this <br />component as an allowance. The allowance is inclusive of labor and material costs, including the masts, <br />mast paint finish, sails and attachments <br />3. $20,000 - allowance for signage as per Pavarini RFI #8 and is inclusive of any and all signage required <br />for the project <br /> <br />c. Pavarini's BID does not include the following items at this time: <br />1. Builders risk insurance and/or deductibles, a quotation can be provided upon request. <br />2. Pedestrian Traffic Coating (none indicated on drawings) <br />3. Painting of the cabana / shelter structures (not indicated on drawings) <br />4. Silva cells (none indicated) <br />5.
