For the last 3 of those years, I <br />had the pleasure of working with Judith Tauszik, who managed our concession stands. The <br />concessions were always well-stocked with a variety of items which constantly changed in <br />response to the requests of players and parents, from whom she constantly solicited <br />comments and suggestions. The concessions were also kept in spotless condition, which is <br />no easy job in an outdoor setting. I also frequented her "bakery" in Oaks Plaza, which went <br />far beyond being a bakery, and offered a large variety of hot and cold prepared foods. Like <br />the concession stands, the bakery was always spotless. <br /> <br />Our financial arrangement with Judith was on the honor system, and I was always satisfied <br />that she went beyond honorable in accounting to us for the income and expenses of the <br />stands. . <br /> <br />I found Judith to be a tireless worker who was never satisfied with the status quo. Rather, <br />she constantly looked for ways to improve things.
