As such, <br />City staff issued a Request for Proposals to contract with a Public Relations firm to <br />promote and market the City, Development Counsellors International (DCI) proved to be <br />the most responsive, responsible bidder for this project. <br /> <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br /> <br />DCI is a New York based firm that specializes exclusively in travel and economic <br />development marketing, They have developed a network of national, international and <br />regional media, Most recently, DCI represented the Greater Miami Convention and <br />Visitor's Bureau and are in the unique position to immediately promote Sunny Isles <br />Beach to those media outlets. <br /> <br />Additionally, both the Sunny Isles Beach Tourism and Marketing Council and the <br />Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau reviewed the proposals and support this <br />recommendation. <br /> <br />FUNDING SOURCE: <br /> <br />Agenda I tern <br /> <br /> <br />Date <br /> <br />http://sibagenda. sibfl.net/agenda/Preview .aspx?1 temID=492&MeetingID <br />
