<br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the CITY COMMISSION of THE CITY
<br />OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH is seeking sealed bids for the following work
<br />as specified.

<br />Median Closure at 175th Terrace on
<br />Collins Ave. and SR A1A/Colllns Ave.
<br />at 183rd St. Streetscape Improvements

<br />Sealed bids for the construction of the Median Closure at 175th Terrace
<br />on Collins Ave. and SR A1A/Collins Ave. at 183rd St. Streetscape
<br />Improvements consisting of two components; One is the Median Closure
<br />Component at 175th Terrace on Collins Avenue. This Component will
<br />involve paving, curbing, and signage. The component for the street-
<br />scape involves improvements along section of State Road AlA (Collins
<br />Avenue and 183rd Street). Work is comprised of demolition of existing
<br />sidewalk with a replacement comprised of concrete pavers. New pedestri-
<br />an and landscape lighting will also be part of the project along with new
<br />landscaping and irrigation. These aforementioned improvements will be
<br />received by the Owner, City of Sunny Isles Beach.
<br />
<br />Bids shall be on a unit price basis; segregated bids will not be accepted.
<br />Sealed bids will be received by the City Clerk no later than 10:00 a.m. on /
<br />Tuesdav. October 20. 2009 at the City of Sunny Isles Beach, City Hall
<br />located at 18070 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beacti, Florida, 33160.
<br />Bids received after this time will not be considered. The City is under no
<br />obligation to return bids. Timely submitted bids will be opened publicly
<br />'and read aloud at this time.

<br />Project Manuals may be obtained from the office of the consultant, Calvin,
<br />Giordano & Associates, Inc., 1800 Eller Drive, Suite 600, Fort Lauderdale,
<br />Florida 33316, 8:00 a,m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, upon payment of a
<br />$175.00 non-refundable fee, for each Project Manual. Project Manuals
<br />may be examined at the offices of Calvin, Giordano & Associates, Inc., or
<br />the City of Sunny Isles Beach, at the referenced address:

<br />Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Total Bid must
<br />accompany the Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders,
<br />
