<br />attended by all of the Vendor's employees assigned to work on the City contract. Any additional <br />training, such as training of new employees throughout the school year, will be the sole <br />responsibility of the Vendor. Proof of such training shall be provided for each crossing guard and <br />supervisor. <br /> <br />3.5 SCHEDULE AND LOCATIONS OF SERVICE <br /> <br />It is anticipated that ten (10) school crossing guards and one (1) school crossing guard <br />supervisor will be required for each school day. However, this is an estimate and the designated <br />City representative will keep the Vendor informed as to the exact number of school crossing <br />guards that will be required at anyone time. <br />The Vendor shall be required to provide coverage at the seven (7) crossings, located within the <br />City limits. The City reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of crossing locations to <br />be staffed. All supervisory personnel shall be certified school crossing <br />guards. It shall be the responsibility of the field supervisor(s) to ensure that all crossings are <br />properly staffed at all times.. <br /> <br />3.7 GUARD BACK UP <br /> <br />The vendor shall provide each working guard with the name and telephone number of a back-up <br />guard in case the working guard cannot be at their post. The Vendor shall ensure that the back- <br />up guard is fully trained and familiar with the specific crossing location. <br /> <br />3.8 TWENTY-FOUR (24) HOUR ANSWERING SERVICE <br /> <br />The Vendor shall provide for their employees a 24-hour answering service. During non-working <br />hours when the field supervisor is not on duty a working guard shall, in the event that he cannot <br />be at his assigned post. <br /> <br />3.9 PHOTO IDENTIFICATION <br /> <br />The Vendor is responsible for supplying all employees with photo identification, showing the <br />Vendor's company name, and the employee's name.
