*Staffing Connection's Qualifications/Scope of Services * Staffmg Connection has contracts throughout the state of Florida including cities in Dade, Broward, Lee and Palm Beach Counties to provide School Crossing Guard services. This is a separate division and is managed by State Certified School Crossing Guard Trainers since 2001 and is considered by many to be the most knowledgeable outside contractors of school crossing guards in the area. We are contracted by 25 cities currently and have over 600 certified crossing guards working in the field on a daily basis. Additionally we have over 35 certified trainers'employed and working in the field. The very unique recruitment skills of the staff coupled with our vigorous training program has made it possible for us to hire and maintain crossing guards that are professional and have the skills and know how to make the right calls; Staffmg Connection/Action Labor is a proud member of the National Safety Council and the South Florida Construction Safety and Health Partnership (C.A.R.E.P.). We take full responsibility and a leadership role in providing a sound safety and health program, and for ensuring its effectiveness in maintaining safe working conditions. We train and certify according to the "Florida School Crossing Guard Training Guidelines" before post assignment. We do background, drug screening and reference checks on all newly registered school crossing guards hired through Staffmg Connection/Action Labor. We provide required e,quipment according to Florida Department of Transportation Safety Office/ Florida School Crossing Guard Training Guidelines. Equipment costs can be quite high and burdensome to the city, we 'eliminate all costs for required equipment i.e.: (vest, gloves and whistle). MUTCD has passed that all crossing guards must use a specific stop paddle by January 1, 20 11. We are prepared to supply the required equipment and properly train all guards. In addition, Staffing Connection trains all guards according to Florida School Crossing Guard Guidelines, by our certified staff. Post observations are done regularly and reports are completed weekly. Daily maintenance of all guards. Background and drug testing on all new hires. All guards covered by Staffmg Connection Liability and Workers Compensation. State Certified supervisors are in the field working and supervising the guard's daily.
