<br />Section 2 <br />Special Terms and Conditions <br /> <br />2.1 PURPOSE OF PROPOSAL: <br /> <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, (the "City") a municipality located in Miami-Dade <br />County, Florida, requests qualified Proposers ("Proposers") to submit proposals for the <br />demolition of structures located at 151, 215 and 350 Sunny Isles Boulevard and 16050 and 16100 <br />Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach Florida 33160. <br /> <br />2.2 PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE (MANDATORY): <br /> <br />A pre-proposal conference will be held at Sunny Isles Beach Government Center 18070 Collins <br />Avenue Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160; 1st Floor Meeting Room on 07/20/2011 at 02:30pm to <br />discuss the special conditions and specifications included within this solicitation. <br /> <br />Proposers are requested to bring this solicitation document to the conference, as additional <br />copies will not be available. <br /> <br />2.3 TERM <br /> <br />This contract shall commence upon the date of issuance of a the Notice to PROCEED (NTP) from <br />the City Manager or his designee and shall remain in effect until such time as the commodities, <br />equipment and/or services acquired in conjunction with this Request for Proposal have been <br />completed and accepted by the City's authorized representative and upon completion of the <br />expressed and/or implied warranty periods. The proposer shall include the time necessary to <br />complete this turn-key project from permitting to final close-out. <br /> <br />2.4 OPTIONS TO RENEW <br /> <br />Intentionally Omitted <br /> <br />2.S PRICE <br /> <br />If the proposer is awarded a contract under this solicitation, the prices proposed by the proposer <br />shall remain fixed and firm during the term of contract and shall be inclusive of all necessary <br />tasks and services to provide the City with a 100% acceptable product. <br /> <br />2.6 PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BOND <br /> <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach shall require the successful Proposer to furnish a Performance and <br />Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the total Proposal Price, with the City of Sunny Isles <br />Beach as the Obligee, as security for the faithful performance of the Contract and for the <br />payment of all persons performing labor or furnishing materials in connection herewith within ten <br />(10) calendar days after notification of the award by the City.
