<br />Section 2 <br />Special Terms and Conditions <br /> <br />2.1 PURPOSE OF PROPOSAL: <br /> <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, (the "City") a municipality located in Miami-Dade County, <br />Florida, seeks the services of a Prime Consultant Materials Testing and Special Inspection <br />consulting firm with specialized expertise in the construction concrete of piers & bridges. It is <br />anticipated that the selected firm will test, inspect, manage and document the construction <br />materials and assemblies according to applicable codes, regulations and standards. <br /> <br />2.2 PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE: <br /> <br />Intentionally Omitted <br /> <br />2.3 TERM <br /> <br />This contract shall commence upon the date of issuance of a the Notice to PROCEED (NTP) from <br />the City Manager or his designee and shall remain in effect until such time as the commodities, <br />equipment and/or services acquired in conjunction with this Request for Qualifications have been <br />completed and accepted by the City's authorized representative and upon completion of the <br />expressed and/or implied warranty periods.
