Grandinetti, Police Captain <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />6/15/20 II <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br />Authorization to enter into an agreement and expend up to <br />$112,914.00 annually with Action Labor Management d/b/a <br />Staffing Connection, for School Crossing Guard Services. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />It is recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached resolution <br />authorizing the Mayor to enter into a one (1) year agreement with an optional <br />four (4), one-year renewals with Action Labor Management d/b/a Staffing <br />Connection for School Crossing Guard Services. <br /> <br />REASONS: <br /> <br />Our Purchasing Department issued an Invitation to Bid (ITB) #11-05-03 and <br />received six (6) bids. Staff has deemed Action Labor Management as the lowest <br />responsive, responsible bidder. <br /> <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br /> <br />Action Labor Management will provide an estimated ten (10) school crossing <br />guards & one (1) supervisor at locations designated by the police department. <br />Action Labor Management currently provides crossing guard services to 25 cities <br />in four different counties to include; The City of Coconut Creek, Pompano Beach, <br />Sunrise, Tamarac and Hallandale Beach. <br /> <br />FUNDING SOURCE: <br /> <br />Funding is budgeted in account# 10.521-5317 <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />.
