Service DiViSiO~A- <br /> <br />December 22, 2009 <br /> <br />Zone Classification Change for Heritage Park <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />It is recommended that the City Commission approve the attached resolution providing for a zone <br />r' classification change for Heritage Park. <br />'-' <br /> <br />REASONS <br /> <br />The City Commission approved an application on March 19, 2009 under Resolution No. 09-Z-118, <br />in which the City requested a district boundary change for the property described in this application. <br />It has been brought to our attention that under that application there was an error in providing <br />individual notice within the 300 feet radius. The purpose of this application is to correct the <br />individual notice error with respect to the initial application. <br /> <br />The City Comprehensive Master Plan classifies the subject property as ROS (Recreational Open <br />Space). The zoning classification on the property is B-1 (Neighborhood Business). The <br />Department is requesting to change the zoning district to CF (Community Facility) which will better <br />describe the future use of the facility.
