<br />calculated by multiplying the applicable Florida sales tax rate times the amount of material and <br />supplies purchased by the CITY under the sales tax program described in Article 6.16 hereof. The <br />Guaranteed Maximum Price may be modified only as herein provided including possible changes <br />as a result of Extra Work as may be documented in a City Commission approved Change Order[ s]. <br /> <br />6.2.2 The Guaranteed Maximum Price shall include in the Cost of Work only those taxes <br />which are enacted at the time the Guaranteed Maximum Price is established. <br /> <br />6.2.3 The Guaranteed Maximum Price shall include all direct and indirect costs associated <br />with the design and construction phases of the Project, including but not limited to, procurement of <br />materials and equipment, labor, overhead, profits, contingency, permits, insurance, performance <br />and payment bonds, utilities, fees, and taxes. <br /> <br />6.3 <br /> <br />Administration. <br /> <br />6.3.1 The CONTRACTOR shall schedule and conduct weekly meetings at which the <br />CITY and CONTRACTOR, and appropriate Subcontractors can discuss the status of the Work. The <br />CONTRACTOR shall prepare and promptly distribute meeting minutes. <br /> <br />6.3.2 The CONTRACTOR shall provide monthly written reports to the CITY and <br />designated consultants on the progress of the entire Work. <br /> <br />6.3.3 The CONTRACTOR may develop a system of cost control for the Work, including <br />regular monitoring of actual costs for activities in progress and estimates for uncompleted tasks and <br />proposed changes. <br /> <br />6.4 <br /> <br />Design Responsibilities. <br /> <br />6.4.1 CONTRACTOR shall prepare preliminary design documents consIstmg of <br />preliminary drawings, specifications and other documents to fIx and describe the size, quality, <br />quantity and characters of the Work, its architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical systems <br />and the materials and other elements of the Work. <br /> <br />6.4.1.1 CONTRACTOR shall submit the preliminary design documents to <br />CITY for review and authorization to proceed with the fmal design preparation. The <br />CONTRACTOR understands and agrees that the CITY, may at its sole discretion, require changes <br />to the preliminary design. All such changes shall be made at the sole and exclusive cost of the <br />CONTRACTOR and be deemed part of the Guaranteed Maximum Price, except for changes <br />outside the scope of the Work Upon authorization from the CITY to proceed with the <br />commencement of the entire design, CONTRACTOR shall begin to prepare drawings, schedules, <br />specifications, technical criteria, written descriptions, design data, construction documents and <br />diagrams setting forth in detail the requirements for the complete construction of the Work.
