Postal Service. <br /> <br />o For two months after Hurricane Andrew in 1992, prepared <br />assessment reports for insurance claims and other needs on <br />residential and commercial properties damaged by the storm, <br />including the Homestead Baseball Complex and the <br />community buildings at the Villages of Homestead. <br /> <br />. Fire Investigations and Repairs <br /> <br />o Responsible for fire investigations and repairs for several <br />apartment buildings in Pompano Beach and Margate, in <br />Broward County, Florida, addressing building officials concerns <br />about building safety and the application of building codes to <br />older construction that must comply with new codes. (2003-05) <br /> <br />· Historic Structures <br /> <br />c <br /> <br />o As a consultant to Monroe County, Florida, performed an <br />evaluation of Truman School, Key West, circa 1915 and 1950; <br />evaluated and designed an expansion to the Monroe County <br />Jail, Key West, circa 1850; and performed an evaluation of East <br />Martello Tower, Key West, a military defense built around <br />1850, for Federal grant applications.
