<br />Overview
<br />
<br />Rajendran. Shanmugam is a Senior Traffic Engineer, and Vice President
<br />responsible for providing traffic engineering selTices for the URS offices
<br />in south Florida area. Mr. Shanmugam has extensive experience in
<br />managing, budgeting, and successfully completing traffic operations and
<br />traffic safety contracts, As a Vice President and manager, he overseas all
<br />aspects of traffic engineering and planning related activities in relation to
<br />any type of transportation projects in the south Florida area. Some of the
<br />recent projects include; ]-95 PD&E Study, Krome Avenue PD&E Study,
<br />Miami Gardens Drive PD&E Study, and several Traffic Operations and
<br />Safety contracts with the FDOT Districts 4 and 6, His experience also
<br />include managing and providing traffic engineering and planning related
<br />services and minor design services to municipalities, such as, Monroe
<br />County, City of Wilton Manors, Town of Davie, City of North Miami
<br />Beach, City of North Miami, and City of Miami.

<br />Prior to joining URS, Mr. Shanmugam worked with Florida Department
<br />of Transportation, District 4 Office, as District Traffic Services Engineer,
<br />Traffic Operations Engineer, and I\ccess Management Engineer. During
<br />his eight-year employment with the District, he was actively involved in
<br />the rule-making process for Access Management Standards for the State
<br />highway system, and had the responsibility of implementing access
<br />management rules and standards in District 4. As the District 4 Traffic
<br />Services Engineer, Mr. Shanmugam managed both the Roadway
<br />Permitting and Access Management Offices,
<br />
<br />His technical expertise include signal timing and operational analysis,
<br />signal desib'11 and timing plans, traffic operational improvements, and
<br />roadway signing and marking improvements,
<br />
