Services include programming and <br />schematic design, design development, construction documents and post-construction administration. Involved in permitting from <br />regulatory agencies including State EPA, Corps of Engineers, DERM and City of Miami. Assisted the City of Miami in obtaining a grant for <br />the project from F.I.N.D. <br /> <br />.., <br />. <br /> <br />..., <br /> <br />2004-2006: Killian Parkway over SR-874 _ Miami-Dade County, Florida. Project consists of the design of a trumpet entrance ramp <br />from Killian Parkway to SR-974 in Miami Dade County. The bridge ramp consists of a two span continuous steel plate girder bridge with <br />142 ft spans. Assisted in the design verification of the steel plate girders. Reviewed and approved Shop Drawings. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />..., <br />. <br /> <br />.., <br />. <br /> <br />2000-2002: Lyons Road Bridge _ Palm Beach County, Florida. Responsible for the design of several continuous flat slab bridges on <br />Lyons Road in Palm Beach. Duties included the generation of live loads the, longitudinal analysis, and the design of the concrete slab all <br />of which were done by hand. Assisted in substructure design including end bents and abutments. <br /> <br />..., <br /> <br />1999-2001: Miami International Airport Bridges - Miami-Dade County, Florida. Project Consists of the design of four major bridges <br />one Continuous Rolled Steel Girder Bridge with Integral Supports steel cap support and three C-I-P Post Tensioned bridges and. <br />Responsible for the complete design of the continuous steel beam bridge that was done utilizing AASHTO's Standard Specifications and <br />done by hand. Integral Steel Piers were utilized to resolve major complex geometric issues as a result of tight airport geometric <br />requirements. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />., <br /> <br />1998-2000: SW 2nd Avenue Bridge _ Miami-Dade County, Florida. Assisted in the design of a 300 ft steel box girder bascule bridge <br />over the Miami River. Responsible for the complete design of counterweight system and the design of the trunnion girders. In addition <br />responsible for the design and development of special details for the trunnion hub assembly and bearings. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />..., <br /> <br />1998: Temporary Passenger Connector - Miami International Airport, Miami-Dade County, Florida. Responsible for the structural <br />elements of the connector between concourse "D' and "E". Connector consisted of a structural steel frame supported on shallow footings <br />anchored to the existing concrete pavement. Developed construction phasing to allow for normal gate operations during construction. <br />Scope of work included design of foundations for aircraft loading bridges. (Completed 1997 MDAD $3 million) <br /> <br />., <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />1995-1997: Sunny Isle Bascule Bridge Renovations - Miami-Dade County, Florida. Renovations were made to a four-lane eastbound <br />bridge and a four-lane westbound bridge over the intercoastal waterway. The movable spans were double-leaf bascule spans supported by <br />concrete bascule piers. Involved in extensive structural and bascule machinery modifications, including the design of modified trunnion and <br />machinery bases. Developed bascule leaf jacking scheme to facilitate trunnion replacement.
