Inc. <br />l~iEXCErTIONAL SOLUTIONS <br />'i <br /> <br />ROBERT JACKSON, PSM <br />Director of Surveying and Mapping <br /> <br />SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS <br />Mr. Jackson has 40 years of experience in all phases of land surveying including <br />boundary, coastal control, hydrographic, route surveys, topographic, and as-built <br />surveys; sketch and descriptions; legal descriptions, record plats; and, boundary <br />descriptions for annexations and de-annexations for municipalities. <br /> <br />Mr. Jackson is highly active in professional surveying organizations and is currently <br />President of the Florida Surveying and Mapping Society. In this role, he reviews Florida <br />surveying laws and is helping to develop a plan to professionally address GIS mapping <br />and new technologies in surveying. As part of this, he implemented memorandums of <br />understanding with allied professions (planners, geologists, biologists, environmental <br />scientists, lawyers, engineers, architects, landscape architects). He assisted the <br />promotion of an effective voice in the Florida legislature and taught Florida Laws, a six- <br />hour course required for professional surveyors. He supports the four-year-degree <br />requirement and to benefit the University of Florida Scholarship Fund for the Geomatics <br />program, he has organized golf tournaments which raised approximately $10,000. As <br />part of the Planting Seeds Program, he is spear-heading a plan to introduce the <br />surveying profession to students throughout the nation. Prior to CGA, Mr. Jackson <br />worked for the Florida Department of Transportation as a rodman, instrument man, and <br />party chief. His last position there was in the Right-of-Way (R/W) Engineering <br />Department Calculation Section, where he prepared R/W maps. <br /> <br />PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />Diplomat Hotel, Hollywood, Florida. Prepared coastal control surveys for the 38-story <br />Diplomat Hotel in accordance with 61G17-6 and 62B-33.09 of the Florida <br />Administrative Code. Consultant for compliance with FEMA requirements; provided <br />exhibits and elevation certificates that reflected compliance with FEMA. <br /> <br />Broward Boulevard (SR-7 to Andrews Avenue), Fort Lauderdale, Florida. <br />Responsible for coordinate geometry calculations and R/W. <br /> <br />Survey Project Manager, Carr Residential Investments, Hampton Isles.
