Morgado <br /> <br />Education <br />Miami-Dade Community College, A.5., Commercial Art and Graphic Design, 1978 <br /> <br />Current Status <br />Mr. Morgado is the Chief CAD Operator at EAS Engineering. His responsibilities involve <br />producing permit sketches of existing and proposed structural and environmental <br />conditions, including detailed digitizing, mapping, and site planning. His computer aided <br />drafting and design capabilities allow for rapid generation of information in a demanding <br />atmosphere, while his clarity and creativity have contributed to all of the projects <br />undertaken by the firm. He has worked closely with the GIS specialist for two of <br />Miami-Dade County's recent large scale efforts to create digital maps for the lakebelt and <br />pineland regions of South Florida, performing photointerpretation and digitizing for the <br />projects. <br /> <br />As a graphic artist, Mr. Morgado has contributed to creating marketing and project-related <br />exhibits. (He is also the company cartoonist.) <br /> <br />Previous Experience <br />Mr. Morgado's prior experience includes eight years with Filigree Wideslab of Florida, Inc., <br />where he drew framing plans, top reinforcements, shoring, and individual slab sheets. He <br />then moved to Outinord Universal where he prepared plans and designed structural and <br />architectural tunnel form drawings using AutoCAD. He has done freelance work for B&F <br />Engineering and Weitz & Tzang & Associates. <br /> <br />Summary <br />Altogether, Mr. Morgado has more than twenty five (25) years of experience as a technician <br />in the field of computer aided design.
