<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Representative Projects: <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />School Board of Broward County, Flynn Engineering Services, P.A., Broward County, FL <br />Principal in Charqe/Pro;ect Manaqer: Over thirteen years, assisted Flynn Engineering in the <br />completion of both traffic studies and School Zone design plans for numerous schools in <br />Broward County, including four in the 2008-9 school year. The work included studies of student, <br />parent and faculty traffic to and from schools, the design of on-site circulation systems which <br />separate pedestrian traffic from vehicular traffic, and the design of school zone pedestrian <br />paths, signing and pavement marking design plans, and signal and flashing beacon design plans. <br />Coordination efforts often involved a number of agencies including: the Florida Department of <br />Transportation, the School Board of Broward County, local municipalities and other members of <br />the design team. <br /> <br />. Port Everglades Master Plan, Broward County, Broward County, FL Principal in <br />ChargelPro;ect Manager: Responsible for all aspects of surface transportation operations <br />considered within POli Everglades as a pmi of their Long-range Master Plan. Tllis included cargo <br />access and storage, cruise passenger tenrunal operations, parking facility sizing and operations <br />analyses, and transit tenninal connections to the surface streets. <br /> <br />. City Place, CityPlace Partners and the City of West Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, FL <br />Princioal in CharzelPro;ect Manager: Responsible for all aspects of vellicular and pedestrian <br />traffic movements to and through this prenlier "New Urbanist" mixed-use, public/private <br />development in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida. Located on the failed "Uptown-Downtown <br />DRI" site on both sides of Okeechobee Boulevard west of Quadrille Boulevard, this $400- <br />million-dollar project created a new, l2-square-block downtown that connects Clematis Street to <br />the Kravis Center and the Palm Beach County Convention Center. Everything from parking <br />garage design to surface street widths and valet parking operations were studied and <br />recommendations provided to the design team and contractors. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Holiday Isle, Holiday Isle Partners, Village of Islamorada, FL <br />Vice President/Pro;ect Manaqer: Assisted the owners of Holiday Isle, a large hotel and marina <br />development in the Village of Islamorada, with their plans for redevelopment. As a part of that <br />effort, performed an access review, developed plans for intersection improvements, and <br />represented the owner's interests before the FOOT. <br /> <br />. Transportation Planning Services - City of Dania Beach, Dania Beach, FL <br />Principal in Charqe/Pro;ect Manaqer: Served as consultant to the City of Dania Beach providing <br />a variety of services including reviews of development site plans and traffic impact studies, a <br />study of safe access along Stirling Road at a proposed new bus terminal, assisted in the <br />development of a Transportation Element for the city's Comprehensive Plan and represented <br />the city staff's position before the City Commission on transportation-related matters. <br />
