<br />ORDINANCE NO. 2011-~1 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />SECTIONS 265-52.A.(21) AND 265-57 OF THE CODE OF <br />ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />PROVIDING FOR TEMPORARY OFF-PREMISES OPEN <br />HOUSE SIGNS; PROVIDING FOR REGISTRATION <br />REQUIREMENTS AND PENALTIES; PROVIDING FOR <br />SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR REPEALER; PROVIDING <br />FOR INCLUSION IN THE CODE; PROVIDING FOR AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City seeks to regulate the placement and duration of temporary 01'1'- <br />premises signs used to promote residential open house events: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to amend Sections 265-52.A.(21) and 265-57 <br />of the City Code to allow homeowners and licensed real estate agents to erect temporary off- <br />premises signs to promote open house events for residential properties located in the City. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Amendment. Sections 265-52.A.(2l) of the Code of the City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />~ 265-52. <br /> <br />Prohibited signs. <br /> <br />A.
