<br />FLORIDA MUNICIPAl INSURANCE TRUST <br />RFP No, 11-08-01 <br /> <br />SimpliCity - FMIT Members face unique challenges when maintaining accurate schedule of values, tracking <br />assets, overseeing projects, coordinating vendor services and documenting the property claims process. <br />SimpliCity was developed exclusively for FMIT Members to address these needs and to speed the claim <br />and recovery process. <br /> <br />VALUE TO YOU: <br /> <br />$ <br /> <br />TurnKey Recovery. In an effort to improve the mitigation process and significantly reduce the financial impact of a <br />loss can have on a Member's ability to recover, FMIT TurnKey Recovery Program is offered to Members. <br />Project costs are approved and paid to certified vendors directly by Synergy for the FMIT in order to reduce <br />Member's out-of-pocket costs. The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) <br />was created in 1999 to investigate suspected fraud to help reduce the cost and amount of fraud for the Florida <br />Municipal Insurance Trust (FMIT) Members. <br /> <br />As of 2010, fraud investigations and prosecutions have resulted in over $5.5 million in cost savings and more <br />that $1.8 million dollars in restitution ordered on FMIT claims. The SIU was recognized by the State of Florida <br />Governor and Cabinet in 2009 for its work in the fight against insurance fraud. <br /> <br />VALUE TO YOU: <br /> <br />$ <br /> <br />Per Scheduled Unit Deductible - The FMIT Deductible applies to each scheduled Building, each scheduled Contents, <br />and each scheduled Property In The Open Instead of Per Location's Total Values.
