As such, the City issued RFP No. 11-08-01 Property Casualty <br />Comprehensive Insurance. The RFP yielded two responses: one from Brown & Brown/Preferred <br />Governmental Insurance Trust (PGIT) and one from Florida League of Cities (FMIT). The initial <br />proposals for the Commercial Package Policy (Property, Liability, and Auto) and Workers <br />compensation are as follows: <br /> <br /> Brown and Brown, Inc. Florida League of Cities <br />Preferred Governmental Insurance Trust Florida Municipal Insurance Trust <br /> (FMIT) <br /> (PG IT) <br />Package Policy & Workers $623,195 Package Policy & Workers $553,650 <br />Comp Como <br /> <br />The proposals were referred to Siver Insurance Consultants (Siver), our independent insurance <br />consultants, for an in-depth analysis.
