Gandinetti, Police Captain <br /> <br />9/15/2011 <br /> <br />Approval to Purchase One (1) Ford F350 Special Purpose Police <br />Vehicle and associated equipment not to exceed $55,000.00 <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />It is recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached resolution authorizing <br />the City Manager to purchase One (1) Ford F350 Special Purpose Police Vehicle and <br />associated equipment not to exceed $55,000.00. <br /> <br />REASONS: <br /> <br />The Sunny Isles Beach Police Department rotates a portion of the police fleet annually to <br />assure the safety and reliability of its equipment to our offIcers. This Vehicle will replace <br />our current eleven (11) year old Special Purpose Police Vehicle and will be utilized <br />during natural disasters, marine patrol operations, training operation, etc. <br /> <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br /> <br />This vehicle will be purchased from Alan Jay Automotive Network under the Florida <br />Sheriffs Association Contract Bid # 1O-18-0907.
