Cohen, City Manager <br /> <br />DATE: September 15,2011 <br /> <br />RE: Resolution Ratifying the Donation of Two (2) Vehicles to the Village of Biscayne <br />Park <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />Adopt the Resolution ratifying the donation of two (2) vehicles to the Village of Biscayne Park. <br /> <br />REASONS: <br /> <br />The Village of Biscayne Park has been under fiscal distress and was in dire need of police <br />vehicles. The City of Sunny Isles Beach had retired two (2) of its Ford Crown Victoria police <br />vehicles. The City donated the vehicles to Biscayne Park in order to help serve their public <br />safety needs. Specifically, the vehicles are 2001 Ford Crown Victorias with VIN <br />#2FAFP7l W5lX1240l6 and VIN #2FAFP7l WXlX12l869. <br /> <br />The Village of Biscayne Park are grateful for the City's generosity to their Police Department <br />and to their citizens. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br /> <br />.
