TGA Design has worked with the City of Coconut Creek on the design and implementation of a city-wide identity anc entry feature sign program for the City, its facilities, and parks. Meeting with the City's Development Director and Planning Staff, TGA Design conducted a series of public meetings to gather "stakeholder" input. Based on the information received, several design options were developed for consideration. The final design was based on Cocol Creek's designation as the "Butterfly Capital of the World". First In the series of city "branding" projects was the design of street identification signage. TGA Design developed a system that incorporated iconic elements from the city seal in a unique street sign topper. The topper promotes a continuance of the city identity, as well as bringing pride and small town charm to the Village. Secondly, TGA Design created and implemented the identity for the "IBUS" city transit system. This package included bus graphics, as well as bus stop signage and route maps. The monuments incorporate the city seal, as well as reflect the Spanish/Mediterranean inspired architecture of the area. Later, other sign types were developed including smaller post -mounted city identity signs and public beach access signage. The beach access signs reflect a modern interpretation of the city identity with the continuance of a beach theme with a modern design aesthetic.
