His work includes <br />highway and land development engineering, with emphasis on roadway design, traffic control <br />plans, utility coordination, environmental permits, SPM, quantity computation, and cost analysis. <br />Prior to his employment with Alvarez Engineers, Inc., Mr. Alessandri worked for four years as an <br />Engineering Intern for Ebasco Services, Inc. in nuclear power plant retrofit. His experience in this <br />area includes soil -structure interaction analysis using finite -element computer models, structural <br />analysis and qualification of structures for seismic stresses; he has also performed safety analyses <br />and design as applicable to nuclear power facilities in the areas of security, fire and flood <br />protection. <br />During and after his graduate studies in Business Administration, Mr. Alessandri worked as a <br />Teaching Assistant and Instructor for courses in Operations Management at Florida Atlantic <br />University. He has also worked in accounting, as well as inventory and service operations <br />administration.
