<br />Summary Minutes: Regular City Commission Meeting Deeember 12,2002 <br /> <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida <br /> <br />Charter Amendments to the City Commission; Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> <br />Action: City Clerk Brown-Morilla read the title and City Attorney Dannheisser reported, <br />noting they must start meeting within 45 days and report to the City Commission within <br />90 days. <br /> <br />Public Speakers: Don Stewart <br /> <br />The nominations were: <br />Commissioner Goodman: Marty Livingston <br />Commissioner Iglesias: George "Bud" Scholl <br />Commissioner Kauffman: Arnold Klein <br />Vice Mayor Edelcup: Mary Ann Eicke <br />Mayor Samson: Irving Diamond <br />Following each nomination, the City Commission voted to approve each nomination by <br />5 separate voice votes of 5-0 in favor. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Edelcup moved and Commissioner Iglesias seconded a motion to approve <br />the resolution. Resolution No. 2002-499 was adopted by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor. <br />Their meetings will be publicly noticed and subject to the Government in the Sunshine <br />Law. The City Clerk was asked to call the members to schedule the first meeting. <br /> <br />9B. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, <br />Reappointing Judge Marshall Ader (Retired), Judge Robert Newman (Retired), and <br />Darcee Siegel as Special Masters, for a Period of One Year, in Accordance with <br />Ordinance No. 2001-l41; Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> <br />Action: City Clerk Brown-Morilla read the title and City Manager Russo reported. <br /> <br />Public Speakers: none <br /> <br />Commissioner Goodman moved and Commissioner Iglesias seconded a motion to <br />approve the resolution. Resolution No. 2002-500 was adopted by a voice vote of 5-0 <br />in favor. <br /> <br />9C. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, <br />Providing for the Vacation of an Alley Running North and South from 185th Street to <br />191st Street, as More Fully Described in Exhibit "A"; Providing for the City Manager to <br />Do All Things Necessary to Effectuate this Resolution; Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> <br />Action: City Clerk Brown-Morilla read the title and Zoning Director Jorge Vera <br />reported. <br /> <br />4 <br />
