Speeial City Commission Meeting Summary Minutes September 26, 2002 Second Budget Hearing Sunny Isles Beach, Florida Public Speakers: none Commissioner Edelcup moved and Commissioner Kauffinan seconded a motion to approve the resolution. Resolution No. 2002-477 was adopted by a voice vote of 4-0-1 in favor at 7 :36 p.m. 3B. Budget Ordinance (Public Hearing) An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Adopting an Operating and Capital Outlay Budget for the Fiscal Year Commencing October 1, 2002 through September 30,2003, Pursuant to Florida Statutes Section 200.65 (Trim Bill) Authorizing Expenditures of Funds Established by the Budget; Authorizing Encumbrances; Authorizing Issuance of Checks; Providing for Grants and Gifts; Providing for Post Audit; Providing for Severability and Providing for an Effective Date. (First ReadinglHearing was 9/5/02) Action: City Clerk Brown-Morilla read the title and City Manager Russo gave his report. He noted that there were additional revisions to some line items detailed in his memo of September 26, 2002 amending the budget prior to the second reading of the ordinance. Public Speakers: none Commissioner Kauffman moved and Commissioner Edelcup seconded a motion to adopt the ordinance on second reading. Ordinance No. 2002-159 was adopted by a roll call vote of 4-0-1 in favor at 7:38 p.m. Vote: Commissioner Edelcup Commissioner Goodman Commissioner Kauffman Vice Mayor Iglesias Mayor Samson yes yes yes absent yes 4. ADJOURNMENT Commissioner Kauffman moved and Commissioner Edelcup seconded a motion to adjourn the meeting.
