CALL TO ORDERlROLL CALL OF MEMBERS <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Samson at 7:30 p.m., with the following officials <br />present: <br />Mayor David Samson <br />Vice Mayor Danny Iglesias <br />Commissioner Norman S. Edelcup <br />Commissioner Gerry Goodman <br />Commissioner Lila Kauffman <br /> <br />City Manager Christopher J. Russo <br />City Clerk Richard Brown-Morilla <br />Assistant City Attorney Hans Ottinot <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE AND INVOCATION <br /> <br />Action: Mayor Samson led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag, and called upon Richard <br />Schulman who then gave the invocation. Mayor Samson made a statement on decorum. <br /> <br />3. ORDER OF BUSINESS (Additions/Deletions/Amendments) <br /> <br />3A. Action: Mayor Samson requested a motion to change the order of business and to hear the <br />second agenda item first. Commissioner Ede1cup moved and Commissioner Goodman <br />seconded a motion to hear the presentation by Spillis, Candela & Partners, Inc., <br />Architects, of the Building Design and Floor Plan of the New Government Center as the <br />first agenda item followed by the site plan and design for the City Park. The motion <br />was approved by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor. <br /> <br />4. PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />4A. Discussion and Public Input on the Conceptual Site Plan and Design for the City Park <br />and Community Center Located at North Bay Road and 181 Sit Drive in Sunny Isles <br />Beach. <br />
