CITIZENS' FORUM: REQUESTS, PETITIONS & OTHER COMMUNICATIONS 13A. Add-On: Isaac Aeilon said that in reference to 10H, regarding an Engineering Study by Florida Power and Light (FPL) for the undergrounding ofthe electrical distribution lines, the City has the Tropicana at the southern border of the City, from the Tropicana all the way to the bridge entering Bal Harbour, that section on the east side of Haulover Beach has the distribution wires and transformers up which are antiquated and asked if City Manager Russo could ask FPL to do a minimal study of this. City Manager Russo clarified what Mr. Aeilon said, that those old type transformers continue down to Turnberry, and Mr. Aeilon said correct. City Manager Russo said one ofthe things that may help resolve that is that Related paid, when they opened Ocean IT, all these fees up front for the undergrounding ofthe utilities from Ocean IT north of Ocean I, and it is still being worked on, it has not happened yet because of a couple of easements that we secured. He said that Turnberry is obligated to do the same thing in their vicinity, the Trump projects will be obligated to do the same thing as well. He said it takes years but in this particular instance 80% of it will be done by developers and then we would orchestrate the piece by the Tropicana and the Ocean Palm. 14. ADJOURNMENT Vice Mayor Goodman moved and Commissioner Thaler seconded a motion to adjourn the rp..eeting, and Mayor Ede1cup adjourned it at 11 :00 p.m. , ~..
