An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, <br />Establishing Guidelines for the Issuance of Special Events Permits; Providing for the <br />City Manager or Designee with the Authority to Issue, Modify, or Revoke Permits for <br />Special Events; Providing for Enforcement; Providing for a Repealer; Providing for <br />Inclusion in the Code; and Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> <br />Action: City Clerk Hines read the title and City Attorney Dannheisser reported noting that <br />the fee for a Special Events Permit will be $40.00, but may be waived for non-profit <br />groups. <br /> <br />Public Speakers: none <br /> <br />Commissioner Iglesias moved and Commissioner Brezin seconded a motion to approve <br />the proposal on first reading. The motion was approved by a roll call vote of 5-0 in <br />favor.
