Summary Minutes: Special City Commission Meeting January 14,2004 Sunny Isles Beach, Florida Commissioner Danny Iglesias Commissioner Lewis J. Thaler Lynn M. Dannheisser, City Attorney Norman Malinski, Esq., Special Counsel Rachel Pearl, Court Reporter, Downtown Reporting 3. RECONVENE: Discussion and vote on direction of litigation. Action: Mayor Ede1cup reconvened the meeting at 9:25 a.m., and noted that we were here to review the vote taken two weeks ago and asked City Clerk Hines to restate the motion. City Clerk Hines noted that the motion from the last meeting was to accept the settlement proposal as outlined by the City Attorney and amplified by the Mayor's discussion after the City Attorney's discussion. City Attorney Dannheisser added, as set forth in the transcript of the Special City Commission Meeting on Tuesday, January 6,2004. [On January 6,2004, Mayor Ede1cup moved and Commissioner Iglesias seconded a motion to accept the settlement proposal as outlined by the City Attorney and amplified by his further discussion after her discussion. The motion was approved by a roll-call vote of 5-0 in favor.] Mayor Edelcup called for a vote, and the motion was approved by a roll-call vote of 4-1 (Vice Mayor Goodman opposed) in favor. Vote: Commissioner Brezin yes Commissioner Iglesias yes Commissioner Thaler yes Vice Mayor Goodman no Mayor Ede1cup yes 4. ADJOURNMENT Mayor Ede1cup moved and Commissioner Iglesias seconded a motion to adjourn the meeting.
