Summar} Minutes: Regular City Commission Meeting April II, 2006 City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida Towers, Golden Shores, and so forth. He said they are having a meeting about the sign at the entrance of Winston Towers 700 on April 19, and he thought it appropriate to come back to them with at least some sort of date as to when they can hope to have some positive feedback from the Commission about this. City Manager Szerlag said that our consultants, Calvin Giordano and Associates, are going to be given an assignment tomorrow to come up with two or three different monument sign designs and by the next meeting [May 18, 2006] we will have some designs for the Commission to look at, they will then decide which schematic they like the best and then we can take it from there. Mayor Edelcup said that the City will underwrite the cost for this. . Commissioner Iglesias noted that when we do these monument signs that we need to look at the right-of-way, whether it is public or private, we may need to get an easement if it is going to be private to place some of these signs, depending on how nice they are going to look and the space that will be required. Mr. Aelion said that is a good point because the City will have to ask for permission from the different complexes. 14.
