An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Amending <br />Chapter 193 of the Sunny Isles Beach Code of Ordinances Entitled "Noise" by Establishing <br />Regulations Relating to Various Types of Noise; Providing for Repeal, Severability, <br />Codification and an Effective Date. <br />(First Reading 3/15/07 - Deferred from 4/19/07) <br />(Deferred to June 21, 2007) <br /> <br />Action: Mayor Edelcup noted that this item has been deferred and asked City Manager <br />Szerlag for an update. City Manager Szerlag said we delayed this item to give staff more <br />time to do a sound analysis at the property line, the area between Ocean IV, and Florida <br />Ocean. He said by the time the conditions were right there was not enough time to analyze <br />the data sufficiently, and so we are asking for a postponement for one month. He said there <br />was also an indication that he and Legal could come up with a better operational definition of <br />continuous noise. <br /> <br />Public Speakers: none <br /> <br />9B.
