<br />Summary Minutes: Regular City Commission Meeting February 21,2008 <br /> <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida <br /> <br />Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and City Attorney Ottinot reported that the purpose of <br />this Ordinance is to clarify the date of the expiration for the TDRs. He said that this <br />Ordinance clarifies the timeframe, and provides the City Commission with the authority to <br />grant additional time for the utilization of private TDRs. <br /> <br />Public Speakers: none <br /> <br />Mayor Edelcup said that this is basically running in conjunction with the previous items <br />(Items 7B and 10E) that we have handled that if TDRs were to otherwise have expired that <br />they can be extended and there is an administrative fee of $1 0,000 to handle it. <br /> <br />Commissioner Brezin moved and Commissioner Scholl seconded a motion to approve the <br />proposed ordinance on first reading. The motion was approved by a roll call vote of 4-0- <br />1 (Vice Mayor Thaler absent) in favor.
