Grandinetti, Police Captain <br /> <br />11/17/2011 <br /> <br />Authorization to expend up to $21,580.90 with Royal Rent-a-Car <br />Systems of Florida for the rental of undercover police vehicles. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />It is recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached resolution <br />authorizing the City Manager to approve the expenditure of budgeted funds in <br />the amount up to $21,580,90. (Twenty-One thousand, five hundred and eighty <br />dollars and ninety cents) to Royal Rent-a-Car Systems of Florida <br /> <br />REASONS: <br /> <br />The Sunny Isles Beach Police Department utilizes rental vehicles for our <br />detached investigative services division to conduct routine investigations as well <br />as covert criminal investigations and surveillances. <br /> <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br /> <br />The City will Piggy-Back the City of Miami Beach (FI) contract Bid # 23-03/04 <br /> <br />FUNDING SOURCE: <br /> <br />Funding for the above services were budgeted and are available under the police <br />equipment rental budget, 10-521-5441. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />.
