Smith & Associates, Inc. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />Approve the contract <br /> <br />REASONS: <br /> <br />This contract moves forward the capital project for storm sewer improvements on 174th <br />Street. <br /> <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br /> <br />The City issued an RFQ to qualify a civil engineering firm to work on the capital project <br />for the improvement of stormwater management on 174th Street. Staff is recommending <br />Craig A. Smith & Associates (CSA). CSA would be responsible for determining the <br />basic design of stormwater management improvements on 174th Street, and providing <br />cost estimates for the remainder of the project. <br /> <br />If the City Commission agrees to continue with the project, a second contract with CSA <br />would be presented for approval by the City Commission.
