Their Snow Plow fleet was equipped to track and log the winter maintenance activity of the snowplow trucks in real -time. To accomplish the data collection, InterFleet@ successfully integrated to various salt /sand spreader controllers to report material rates and quantities as well as reporting operational actions such as the amount of time spent plowing. Besides Snow Plows, the Tollway monitors supervisor vehicles, passenger cars, street sweepers, help trucks, message signs, along with many other maintenance vehicles, and some with a PTO interface. With their Engineering, Training, Development, Customer Service, and Contractor fleets equipped with GPS, Management and Department Heads were able to get a better view of their Fleet's daily operation. Utilizing the ability to monitor PTO interfaces, Keys is able to see when their Boom Trucks are being operated with flashing icons on their screen, and with the InterFleet@ Data Transfer Web Services, Keys has the ability to integrate the raw GPS data into their Emergency Management System.
