saCO.-
Public Works Department
Saco City Hall
300 Main Street
Saco, Maine 04072 -1538
January 3, 2012
Mike Bolduc, Director of Public Works
Telephone: (207) 284 -6641
Fax: (207) 282 -8212
Email: mbolduc@sacomaine.org
sacomaine.org
In 2008, the City of Saco Public Works Department chose to try a few GPS units in our fleet
for tracking snow plowing, street sweeping, and roadside mowing activities that our department
does on a regular basis. After being pleased with the return on our initial investment we have
budgeted for a few units per year to add to our fleet tracking.
Since first contacting GPS Fleet Solutions, we have been pleased with the customer support
and continuing improvements that the company has offered to make sure we are pleased with
the product performance. They are in touch with what we are trying to accomplish with our
fleet monitoring and are good at keeping up with the latest product offerings for different levels
of tracking needs. Fortunately, we have had very little to discuss with the support group, but
when we have they have been quick to provide solutions to any technical problem.
Sincerely,
Patrick Fox
Deputy Director
City of Saco Public Works
i
