RFP No. 11 -12 -01 <br />FLEET WIDE GPS AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEM <br />Maps can also be viewed using the following modes: traffic, map, hybrid, terrain, <br />weather, or street view. <br />2.2.2 Vehicle Information Capture & Reporting <br />Intermedix proposes the deployment of the Antx T'"Messenger (see detailed <br />description in Attachment E) deployed in each vehicle to interface to the vehicles <br />control system. The unit is an integrated telemetry and alarm notification system <br />designed to work seamlessly with electronic engine controllers, ECUs, and other <br />devices that support the 31939 protocol. This allow the fleet management solution <br />to capture and report on the information required by the City in its RFP for each <br />vehicle and present this information in a manner suitable for administrative use <br />and reporting in the following functional areas as listed in the RFP: <br />Ignition Report <br />Intermedix will work directly with Sunny Isles administration to determine the <br />specific data and format to be included in this report since there are varying <br />vehicle types with differing application expectations. As the City well knows, the <br />Ignition Report will simply track each time a tracked vehicle starts up or turns off. <br />Speed Alerts <br />By hovering over each vehicle icon on a map, a user can view the speed, direction <br />it is heading, status of the vehicle, and work order assigned to each piece of <br />equipment. The fleet management solution, at an additional cost (provided in our <br />Pricing Proposal), can provide speeding reports that show where the speed was <br />broken, what the posted speed limit was, and the status of the vehicle. <br />• Start/Stop Reports - (Speed & direction of travel, 1 report per hour when vehicle <br />is stopped) <br />© 2011 Intermedix 13 <br />
